Stormchasers 2008
LOCATION Toi Rerehiko Gallery. In group show “Atmos: Weather as Media”, curated by Janine Randerson.
Stormchasers is a multi-screen floor installation including a variety levels of weather observation; from the remote satellite view of recent tropical storms, such as Cyclone Nargis, which devastated Burma to the close-range vision revealed in recordings of ‘stormchaser’ activities in Australia and New Zealand which have been uploaded to YouTube.
