The 'cascade' project developed from a five week residency at DMU (National Environmental Research Institute) in Denmark. I participated in the process of scientific monitoring and visualisation of bird and mammal species adversely affected by climate change. The installation includes scientific visualisation processes such as satellite telemetry trackline maps, based on patterns of animal migration, as well as shared environmental video online from YouTube. The audio includes bio-sonar navigation signals from arctic marine mammals.
