'The Bruce Wilkinson Story' is a site-specific sound installation about the clock collector Bruce Wilkinson. The exhibition consists of three earphones attached to the glass display surrounding the collection of clocks. Two of the speakers provide a remixed version of the sound of dozens of ticking clocks in the collection, the other supplies an imagined story about Bruce Wilkinson’s first cuckoo clock purchase in Germany after World War II. Inside the display case are some interventions that suggest Wilkinson’s spectral presence; a coat draped on a chair, a bag and a half empty glass.
